It is the original art hub of the capital, boasting the highest population of galleries in London. Some of these Galleries are dedicated to showing the world’s most prestigious artists.
The Free Art Tour showcases art in Mayfair covering unique art pieces from old masters down to emerging contemporary artists who are on show in the art galleries and auction houses that can still surprise even the most ardent of art lovers. The booking is open on first come first serve basis.

The Promo Art Tour of Mayfair is a unique experience for any art lover. Here is what you can expect during the 8 Hour Full Day Tour of this exciting art district.
We’ll meet at 10 AM at at The Royal Academy (main entrance on Piccadilly) for a coffee and a “Welcome to Mayfair” meeting. You will be briefed about what to expect from this tour and how to make the best out of your visits. You can shoot your questions in the Q&A session that follows the briefing. If you desire, you can order your own coffee and pastries.

Visit some of the top galleries of Mayfair like Pace Gallery, Flowers Gallery, Stephen Friedman Gallery
After an enlightening tour of the galleries, the tour takes you to an exhibition viewing at Christie’s called The Post War and Contemporary Evening sale.
Its time to take a break to discuss what you have seen. Participate in the discussion with the Tour Leader and other participants during lunch. As the lunch is optional. you are free to order your lunch/wine.
Claire McCaslin-Brown graduated with an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art – London in 2005. Her more than ten years at various galleries and art start-ups included a role as marketing director for Sotheby’s Institute of Art, the premier provider of art history and art business education. She currently works as an independent art adviser for clients in London and worldwide. She has a network of art specialists which covers many aspects of the market including professionals working in art law, insurance, all aspects of due diligence, galleries, dealers & auction houses, art journalists, writers, independent art consultants.
With this experience and knowledge, Claire becomes an effective tour leader and she comes across as someone who has managed to amass a lot of information from various places and time periods which she is too happy to impart.
